Quick Apply Part-time 6 hours ago Full Job Description Job Description The Breakfast Attendant role is to connect with guests at breakfast, ensuring guest satisfaction, and prepare all Food and Beverage according to brand standards.
The Breakfast Host will also be tasked with keeping the breakfast area stocked and clean at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides personalized service to all guests.
Regularly communicate and converse with all guest.
Prepare food and beverages according to recipe.
Fully understands and complies with all food safety requirements.
Set up breakfast area before the guest begin to arrive; display the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner according to brand standards/requirements.
Efficiently replenishes buffet with food, beverages and/or supplies as needed.
Maintains cleanliness of buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as necessary.
Properly disposes of used plates, utensils, napkins and/or cups as necessary.
Responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner; follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
Attend department meetings as scheduled.
Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates.
Comply with policies and procedures.
Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.
Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Must have a minimum of 1 year Food Service experience, hotel setting strongly preferred.
Thorough knowledge of customer service.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective and professional written and verbal communications and have the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.

Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma, GED or related field Experience Minimum 1 year F&B service (Hotel industry preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses/Certifications Must possess NYC Food Handler certification.
